Not one to stand still very long, recent performances include: 42nd Street, Footloose, Jersey Boys, Godspell, and The Marvelous Wonderettes at the Mac-Haydn Theatre, Spring Awakening at Northern Stage Company, and cabaret, singer-songwriter, and band performances at 54 Below, The Bitter End, Green Room 42, Bowery Electric, and Brooklyn Music Kitchen. Emily has been active in studio sessions with Madam Who? — a throwback to her days in Nashville as bassist for Madam Who?'s alt-rock group Audra and the Antidote.

In Nashville, Emily performed with a wide array of musicians, bands, jazz ensembles at The Nashville Jazz Workshop's Jazz Cave, and a never-ending revolving door of singer-songwriters.​​
